From Storefront to Forefront
Where it all began
Who is Maud?
It all started in 1907 when Maud Borup began to make candy in her St. Paul home. Using original recipes, high quality ingredients, and copper kettles, word of her small-batch sweets spread far and wide. It’s said that even The Queen of England was a life-long customer.
A Rich History
An Oldy but Goody History
From original recipes made with quality ingredients stirred in copper kettles to becoming an innovative and sustainable industry leader, our history is over one hundred years in the making.
True to Maud’s spirit, we continue to reinvent classic sweets with modern twists and delightful surprises.
